Insight :- I got my first computer on the 24th August 2001. Never had 1 before and bought it for £1200 on the high street ( Bad Mistake) . I didn't know any better and it worked for me, with Millennium Edition and a promise of an upgrade to XP Home, I was on my way. I didn't realise then that 5 years down the line it would still dominate my life and offer so much.

Beta News and reviews plus a whole lot more

Beta's are what the software companies call pre-release, incomplete versions of software that are available for testing purposes

These sites contain all the up to date news on pre-release software their help forums are extremely extensive with knowledge of the moderators and members alike is second to none well worth bookmaking these sites

"Tweaking"

Wow this is fun! but not for the faint hearted. It can also become extremely addictive so be warned

Some of the sites offer more help and support than others all offer guides on how to tune your OS to your hearts content. But as I said BE WARNED it can be dangerous and is definitely addictive

" Internet Connection Speed"

If your like me not only are you obsessed with your PC speed, your internet has to be F1 standard as well. I know some of the above sites have tweaks on for internet, but I have spent hours on these sites
