Authors: Stephen Kersey Google is really pushing GoogleTV with various online and offline advertising campaigns. In this GoogleTV review, I’ll tell of my experience with GoogleTV — specifically the Logitech Revue. The coolest part of GoogleTV is easily adding search and internet to your television. With a press of a button, you can use Google to search the web or to search for TV shows to watch. It’s simple to do and the layout is clean. Compared to the Roku, I find it easier to work with and much faster. With its internet capabilities, it’s also much more useful than simply a media streaming device. The only real downside I’ve found is its wireless ability. At least a few times per week, I have to use the built-in settings to reset the wireless connection. It almost always works after the resetting — but it’s annoying. You can get a Logitech Revue with GoogleTV for under $100 at places like Best Buy or online at Amazon. I highly recommend it, especially if you don’t have to use the wireless feature.
