Two monitors are better than one
How many of us play online games which run full screen, we also spend ages on msn talking to people we work , go to schools or university with, cant do that running full screen progs, having two web pages open at once loads and loads of advantages of having two screens. I worked with a company where two screens were essential to carry out the needs of the business. its here that I began to appreciate the benefit of running a two screen system, and all of this is quite simple with only the cost of a new screen and a cable the rest is already there. read this article and have a think don't buy the brand new 21" TFT monitor buy another 17" for an $100 or so and see twice as much not more of the same.
You can never have enough screen space, especially when organizing and working on your digital pictures. Instead of buying a larger monitor, if you're using Windows XP, you can buy an inexpensive second monitor and connect it to your computer—instantly doubling your desktop space. Flat panel LCD monitors look great and will save room on your desk; CRT monitors also work well and can be less expensive.
