If you’re looking for a quick, dirty, and cheap way to extend your camera’s flash-sync cord, this tutorial shows you how to splice it to an Ethernet cable for easy length customization.
Flash sync cables are usually rather short and lengthy cables are obscenely expensive for what they are (often $1-1.50 a foot). This simple tutorial shows you how you can can hack a short sync cable to any length you desire using cheap Ethernet cable and female Ethernet adapters.
