British Men Love Porn

 It’s official: Britain now leads the world in tugging its collective todger to online porn. The official statistic is that Britain leads the world on porn downloads. I can just imagine the shape of the trophy.

The survey by Nielsen NetRatings for the Independent on Sunday newspaper found nine million men – around 40 per cent of British males – surfed the Net’s fruitier wares in the past year. This is up by a staggering and engorged 350 per cent on 2000. Hell, 2.5 million surfed porn in the last month alone, bringing the stat up to 1-in-4 men.

Still, while Brit males are voting with their hands, or at least one of them, for their favourite pastime, British ladies are also showing a growing interest in online nakedness. Around 1.5 million ladies downloaded some porn in the past year, up just 30 per cent on previous figures. Finally, the most sought after word searched for on the Net by Brits overall was, you guessed it: “porn”. I’m spotting a trend here.
