I just had installed 7048 thought Ill have a decent mess around over the weekend, I come home from work today and what's everywhere?, a new build of windows 7 v1057 anyway its on its way and we'll look to see if we can find any difference, I can only suspect that builds as close as this without much change can only mean we have a beta 2(unlikely) or an RC(more likely) on the horizon.

That’s what I thought when we were given the heads up by community member WGUIMB that Windows 7 Build 7057.0.x86fre.winmain.090305-2000 has leaked to the public in the x86 flavor, with x64 supposedly on its way. You can expect an in-depth writeup on this new build covering the changes from 7048 shortly, but for now allow us to give you a quick glimpse of this build:
