A number of reports are suggesting that Microsoft’s Lync (formerly known as Microsoft Office Communicator) business messaging client will be coming to Windows Phone and other platforms (Android, iOS, Blackberry) as early as tomorrow. Microsoft is expected to announce strong momentum around its new Office 365 service today, which includes Lync and this is believed to be a great time to introduce the new service for their own mobile platform.

Microsoft has yet to officially confirm anything about the Lync client except that they are working on it and plan a release soon. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more news about Lync for Mobile and report back on its availability.
