Authors: Jason Posted on Windows 7 News & Tips Nokia’s Lumia 800 handset is probably the most popular Windows Phone device because of the expectations leading up to the launch and their stellar marketing campaign. For the most part, the Lumia 800 has lived up to the expectations and has sold well by Nokia’s reports. There is, however, one exception to the great reports coming from Finland and it’s mainly around the battery life issues that many users have been griping about with the 800. A number of users have issued complaints about the Nokia Lumia 800?s less-than-stellar battery life and Nokia has finally issued an official statement about their plans to update the software to help power consumption:
Nokia has certainly been busy with updating their other software for the Windows Phone ecosystem and it appears that they are prepared to address these user complaints about the battery. It’s important for both Nokia and Microsoft that their Windows Phone launch run as smoothly as possible, so the update is certainly welcome, but it makes you wonder if Nokia may have shipped their devices too early.
